What is it?

It’s brand new! As of July 2005, you can buy Life’s Good Soup™ that is prepared in a licensed federally inspected kitchen in Spryfield, frozen and sold right here in Halifax. Frozen soups last 12 months in the freezer – stock up!

We feature comfort soups and exotic soups. The most popular flavor, our Asian soup, is called “Happiness”. Try it! (You can also buy Comfort, Success, Joy, Abundance, and Confidence! It’s all on the list of soups!)

  • All soups are made with “Half Island Harvest” sea salts from Guysborough, Nova Scotia (also at the Halifax Farmers Market)
  • All organic ingredients in the soups
  • All soups are $7.99 for a 500 ml (2 cup) microwaveable plastic container of frozen homemade soup

As well, there is a vegan (strict vegetarian) version of each flavour in the soup line, so everyone can enjoy the same soups together!

  • Soups are available at the Halifax Farmers Market, Lower Water St, Halifax, 7 am – 1 pm Saturdays – in the room off of the South Gate Courtyard, next to the Grainery Coop Booth (map).
  • Life's Good Soup is also available by the bowlful at Spring Café (100-1314 Tower Rd in Halifax) - Spring Café features one of our 100% organic soups every day, served hot! They also have some of the best coffee in the city, plus salads, sandwiches and other food and beverages (map).

Why?

Life’s Good Soup™ is my attempt to spread good news in the world--Life’s Good!--and to provide delicious, healthy, convenient organic food to all of you who enjoy eating and who care about what you eat.

On the website you can tell me stories about why “life is good” and I can share these stories with others. You can email me, too!

In the meanwhile, try some frozen samples (free at the booth or take home frozen soup samples for only 50 cents) of appetizing organic soup concoctions – keep frozen in your freezer or eat your soups right away – simply microwave, or put in pot on your stove top to heat.

Every soup I create has a vegan (vegetarian) version - so every appetite is satisfied!

Through the Farmer’s Markets and through “subscriptions” of weekly soup delivered to selected apt / condo buildings in downtown Halifax (or to workplaces) I plan to reach you – let me know if you wish to have a “soup party” in your building or workplace, where your neighbours / co-workers can sample the soups and subscribe to weekly or bi-weekly frozen soup deliveries – call 422-6994.
